It will operate three flights a week from London's Gatwic Airport to the island of Sal - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - during its summer season. The arhcipelago, wihc comprises ten islands and five islets, most of them mountainous, lies some 500kms off the west cost of Africa. easyJet is also offering a range of package holidays there, including at several 5 star Melia resorts. The new route is one of 26 being added for next summer. The airline will fly to the Italian resort of Rimini for the first time, also from Gatwick.
